Pelaksanaan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) merupakan momentum krusial bagi transformasi gizi anak sekolah, ibu hamil, dan kelompok rentan di Indonesia. Beras yang merupakan makanan pokok utama masyarakat adalah sarana (vehicle) fortifikasi adalah langkah paling strategis dan efisien biaya untuk mengintervensi masalah kekurangan gizi mikro secara massal. Poster visual ini menguraikan bagaimana integrasi Beras Fortifikasi dalam menu pangan lokal yang dianalisis dengan Linear Programming Optifood menunjukkan strategi komplementer yang layak dalam memebantu kesenjangan vitamin B6, seng, tiamin, zat besi, niasin, dan folat. Namun, beras fortifikasi tidak dapat menggantikan prinsip keragaman pangan.
